About us
Portugal Best Wines gift cards are issued by DREAMWINE LTD, company number 15190809, 10 Barley Mow Passage, Barley Mow Centre, London W4 4PH. If you have any questions about a gift card, email us at info@portugalbestwines.co.uk.
Our gift cards
Our gift cards are e-gift cards, sent by email. They are available in values from £25 to £200 and can be sent to yourself or straight to the person you are treating, with a personal message.
How to use your gift card
Your gift card can be used on portugalbestwines.co.uk. Simply enter the gift card code at checkout. If your order costs more than the card's balance, you can pay the rest by card. Gift cards cannot be used to buy other gift cards.
Balance
Anything you don't spend stays on your gift card for next time, until it expires. To check your balance at any time, open your gift card email and click "View your gift card".
How long it lasts
Your gift card is valid for 24 months from the date it was bought. The expiry date is shown on your gift card. After that date the card expires and any remaining balance can no longer be used, so please spend it in good time.
No cash alternative
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, resold or refunded, except where the law gives you the right to cancel, as explained below.
Your right to cancel
If you change your mind, you can cancel your gift card purchase within 14 days of buying it and get a full refund, as long as the gift card has not been used. Just email info@portugalbestwines.co.uk with your order number.
Refunds on wine bought with a gift card
If you return wine that you paid for with a gift card, we will put the gift card amount back onto your gift card. Any amount you paid by bank card will go back to that card. For example, if you paid £50 by gift card and £30 by card, £50 goes back on your gift card and £30 back to your card.
Lost or stolen gift cards
Please keep your gift card code safe, as you would cash. Anyone with the code can use it. If your code is lost or stolen, contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to help, but we cannot guarantee to replace a card that has already been used.
Age
Under UK law we can only sell alcohol to people aged 18 or over. The person buying a gift card and the person using it must both be 18 or over.
Personal messages
You can add a personal message of up to 200 characters to your gift card. It is sent exactly as you write it, so please check it before you buy. You are responsible for what your message says.
Your information
When you send a gift card, we use the recipient's name and email address and your message only to deliver the gift card. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.
Fraud
We may cancel a gift card if we reasonably believe it was bought or used fraudulently.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in place when you bought your gift card will apply to it.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
