A crisp Portuguese sparkling from Vidigueira, in the Alentejo, delicately infused with green tea and elderflower. Cold maceration with Gunpowder green tea and Pai Mu Tan white tea is blended with organic elderflower, freshly picked and distilled to keep its delicate aromatics.

A luminous balance where brightness meets texture and delicacy meets boldness, the hugo spritz of the wine world, with no sugar. Bright, herbaceous and floral, yet dry and vibrant, with fresh citrus, soft white flowers and a subtle tea bitterness. Untamed, refreshing and refined all at once.

Extra dry, with fine bubbles and just 10% alcohol. Made for aperitifs, long lunches and everyday celebrations. Serve well chilled at 6 to 8°C.

Delância is a young Alentejo project from Inês Deroche and Tom Simpson that revives a very old idea: two thousand years ago, wine made in southern Portugal was routinely aromatized with herbs, fruits and resins, for flavour and for preservation. This crisp white from Vidigueira reinterprets that heritage with modern precision.

Botanicals: Cold maceration with Gunpowder green tea and Pai Mu Tan white tea, blended with organic elderflower, freshly picked and distilled to preserve its delicate aromatics.

Tasting: Pale citrine in colour with a fine bubble. Bright, herbaceous and floral, with fresh citrus, soft white flowers and a subtle tea bitterness. Dry, fresh and tense on the palate, with a clean, lightly bitter, very refreshing finish.

Vinification: A stainless-steel base wine of Antão Vaz, Roupeiro and Arinto, given a brief, controlled botanical infusion and a delicate sparkling in small volumes. Extra dry, with no added sugar, and just 10% alcohol.

Serving: Serve well chilled at 6 to 8°C as an aperitif or spritz, with salads, seafood and sushi.

Delância is a young Portuguese producer born in Baleizão, in the Baixo Alentejo, where Inês Deroche and Tom Simpson set out to reimagine the how, where and when of wine. Inês's family acquired the hundred-hectare estate, with its vines, olive and almond trees, in 2015; the couple fell for the place during the pandemic, made it home, and converted part of it to organic farming.

Their idea is to bridge the world of wine with the creativity of cocktails and aperitivo culture, for a younger, more irreverent palate. It draws on a very old tradition: two thousand years ago, wine made in southern Portugal was routinely aromatized with herbs, fruits and resins, for flavour, for preservation and for cultural and symbolic ritual.

Delância revives that heritage as a living patrimony, reinterpreted with modern precision: a stainless-steel base wine, a brief and controlled botanical infusion, and a delicate sparkling in small volumes that keeps the bubbles fine and the aromatics defined.

You're Overpaying for French Wine Because You Don't Know About Portugal

Here's what other wine producing countries don't want you to know:

Portugal makes wines just as good, sometimes better, for half the price. Everyone’s been trained to worship the same names: Bordeaux, Burgundy, Napa, Tuscany. But here’s the uncomfortable truth those wine giants don’t want you to hear:

Portugal is making wines just as exceptional, and often better, for a fraction of the price.

And no, this isn’t a budget alternative. It’s a massive blind spot in the wine world. While the rest of the planet keeps pumping out the same 12 internationally famous grape varieties - Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay - Portugal has been doing something radically different.

They’ve quietly preserved more than 250 indigenous grapes you can’t find anywhere else on Earth.

Not copies. Not variations. Completely unique varieties with flavours, aromas, and textures you’ve literally never tasted before.

That £80 Cabernet you just splurged on? Portugal has wines made from grapes you’ve never even heard of… and they’ll absolutely stun you, for £20–£30.

Imagine discovering flavours that feel familiar and completely new.

Imagine drinking wine that feels like a secret... because hardly anyone else knows about it yet.

Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally vary due to weather conditions, peak periods or courier delays.

Yes, you can track your order here.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirming shipment along with your tracking number so you can follow your delivery online. If you provide a mobile number at checkout, you may also receive SMS updates from the courier.

On the day of delivery, APC will send a notification confirming your parcel is out for delivery. Please note that this message confirms the parcel has left the depot and is scheduled for delivery that day. It does not necessarily mean the driver is heading to you immediately. Please refer to the estimated delivery window provided.

After receiving your delivery notification, you can manage your delivery directly with the courier. This may include:
- Leaving delivery instructions
- Requesting delivery to a neighbour
- Rearranging the delivery date

Please note that instructions such as leaving the parcel outside the front door or in a safe place are not permitted. As we sell alcohol, all deliveries are age restricted and must be received in person.

If delivery is unsuccessful, the courier will normally attempt delivery twice before the parcel is returned to us.

What if there’s no one at home?

Please note that deliveries are made throughout the day. We recommend choosing a delivery address where someone is likely to be available to receive the order.

You will receive advance notification from the courier confirming your delivery date, followed by a delivery window on the day itself. This allows you to plan accordingly or rearrange the delivery if needed.

If you are not usually at home during the day, you may wish to use an alternative address, such as your workplace, a family member’s home or a trusted neighbour.

What payment methods can I use?

You can pay for your order using whichever method is most convenient for you. We accept credit and debit cards, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Shop Pay.
