Sogrape Vinhos was born of the will and courage of a group of friends. Tasting Notes: Mateus Rosé Original is a rosé with a very appealing and bright hue. On the whole, it is a fresh and seductive wine with fine and intense bouquet and all the joviality of young wines. On the palate, it offers juicy red berry notes with a balanced sweetness and vibrant acidity, making it ideal for those who enjoy a smooth, easy-drinking style. A brief ageing period on fine lees adds a touch of roundness to the wine without losing its crisp character.

It is a young wine, with a citrus tone and a fruity bouquet, with fine acidity and well balanced, lively and young in the mouth.

Vinification follows the traditional method for white wines and fermentation is carried out slowly, without skins, in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature at 16ºC. The finishing is followed by cold stabilisation, after which the wine is filtered and bottled. The entire process is carried out with extreme care, to consistently guarantee Mateus unique style, colour and freshness.
