Fonte da Perdiz Tinto, is the result of a selection of the best grapes from Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca. These grapes planted in schist derived soils on the slopes of the Alto Douro Vinhateiro, gave rise to a mature but balanced wine.

I lectured in Portugal during the ‘70’s, ‘80’s and ‘90’s.
‘ The Vinho verdhe from Moncao was an absolute favourite which I enjoyed greatly in the Fado houses of Alfama . The Muralhas is not only a nostalgic reminder of good friends but a reminder of the guality and extreme drinkability of one of the great historic wines of Portugal.

Luxuriously delicious

This excellent wine was on the menu at Crossroads Kitchen and we loved it there. I have since had three bottles and so pleased with it, such good quality for the price!
