Sparkling Terras do Demo Malvasia fina is the result of our passion for quality Sparkling's. With an improved production method we were able to create an award-winning Sparkling with recognized quality. With a clear appearance and a fine and persistent bubble, the vinification of this product takes place in an "open spout" system with decantation and fermentation at low controlled temperatures. The maturation and aging of this Sparkling occurs in a slow evolution, with the fruity peaks rounding off after 12 months. Complex aromas occur in the later aging phase. Sparkling Terras do Demo Malvasia Fina is ideal for accompanying Seafood, oysters, Fish, poultry and Poultry.

About this Winery

The Távora Agricultural Cooperative CRL is located in the “Távora – Varosa” Demarcated Region, located between the Douro and Dão regions. Given its unique conditions – granite soils, primary and poor in limestone, high altitudes, temperate continental climate, among others – makes it a privileged place in the production of apples and wine. The climate/soil binomial makes this region the most suitable, nationally, for apple production, from which the much appreciated “Bravo de Esmolfe” variety stands out.

Regarding white wines, the natural acidity, the intense aroma, and the citrus character, bright and fresh, create a special highlight, so that we can affirm that this is the region par excellence where white wine finds unique conditions to rise to the highest level. high level of quality. Likewise, red wines seek this delicacy in the aroma and nobility of the body, achieving a notable “flavor” over time.

I lectured in Portugal during the ‘70’s, ‘80’s and ‘90’s.
‘ The Vinho verdhe from Moncao was an absolute favourite which I enjoyed greatly in the Fado houses of Alfama . The Muralhas is not only a nostalgic reminder of good friends but a reminder of the guality and extreme drinkability of one of the great historic wines of Portugal.
