Wine is clean and bright with a ruby color. Aromas of red fruits and some jelly. In the mouth, we feel blackberries. It’s a balanced wine with a long finish. As a perfect match, I recommend roast beef.

Vinification: In stainless steel vats, with controlled temperature at 25-27ºC, tanning from 5 to 7 days in order to obtain an elegant and fresh wine. After the winemaking process the wine is partially aged (25% of the lot) in used French American oak barrels for 8 months.

I lectured in Portugal during the ‘70’s, ‘80’s and ‘90’s.
‘ The Vinho verdhe from Moncao was an absolute favourite which I enjoyed greatly in the Fado houses of Alfama . The Muralhas is not only a nostalgic reminder of good friends but a reminder of the guality and extreme drinkability of one of the great historic wines of Portugal.

Delicious wine, delivered fast!

Luxuriously delicious

This excellent wine was on the menu at Crossroads Kitchen and we loved it there. I have since had three bottles and so pleased with it, such good quality for the price!
