Wine is clean and bright ruby colour. On the nose we find red fruits, figs, floral notes, rock rose and spices. In the mouth we feel a touch of vanilla, soft tannins, it is a very persistent wine. As a perfect pairing I recommend sausages or red meats.

I lectured in Portugal during the ‘70’s, ‘80’s and ‘90’s.
‘ The Vinho verdhe from Moncao was an absolute favourite which I enjoyed greatly in the Fado houses of Alfama . The Muralhas is not only a nostalgic reminder of good friends but a reminder of the guality and extreme drinkability of one of the great historic wines of Portugal.

Luxuriously delicious

This excellent wine was on the menu at Crossroads Kitchen and we loved it there. I have since had three bottles and so pleased with it, such good quality for the price!
