This wine has a clean, brilliant rose colour. very fresh, dry and fruity with hints of tart strawberry. well balanced with a touch of sweetness and mineral notes creating a lovely persistent finish.

Quinta de Gomariz is located in the sub-region of Vale do Ave, the heart of the Vinhos Verdes region, between the cities of Porto and Braga. Having today an area of approximately 17 hectares, our vineyards have excellent characteristics for the production of high quality Vinho Verde.

I lectured in Portugal during the ‘70’s, ‘80’s and ‘90’s.
‘ The Vinho verdhe from Moncao was an absolute favourite which I enjoyed greatly in the Fado houses of Alfama . The Muralhas is not only a nostalgic reminder of good friends but a reminder of the guality and extreme drinkability of one of the great historic wines of Portugal.

Luxuriously delicious

This excellent wine was on the menu at Crossroads Kitchen and we loved it there. I have since had three bottles and so pleased with it, such good quality for the price!
